Don't Burn Out: Self Care for POC Student Leaders

Don't burnout.jpg

Description

Young people of color, just like the leaders of SNCC like John Lewis and Diane Nash, are the starting point of building a more inclusive and equitable society. We need to make sure that have the skills and resources to take care of one another for the long haul.

We are building a generation of POC who are resilient and resistant to the world that objectifies, erases, and dehumanizes them. This work is hard and we need to remember that in order to continue to do this work we need to make sure that we are carving out spaces for healing, reflection, and community. We want young people of color to continue engaging in social justice work and to continue advocating for the most marginalized among us.
