InterAction harnesses the power of counter-narratives - stories from the margins - to build communities that embrace and prioritize inclusion, intersectionality, and racial equity.

We strive to create communities — on college campuses, schools, organizations, and neighborhoods —  where diversity, equity, and inclusion flourish, and the structures of racism and oppression are eradicated.
We engage creative and effective strategies in counter-narrative education, advocacy, and social justice theater to foster awareness, empathy, and social change. Our workshops are creative, engaging, and action-oriented. We uplift students of color by affirming their intersectional identities, developing them as agents of change, and advocating for best practices that cultivate them to be their full selves.

By asking communities to share and listen to each other’s stories we bring marginalized stories to the
center stage. Our approach is three-pronged:

Empower Stories

Engage Communities

Catalyze Social Change

Our goal is to activate young people of color to
be change agents in their communities.
